Neurogenic bladder dysfunction should be treated with psychotherapy

Women who have a weak bladder problem, suffer depression, scientists say. According to Dr. Alex TL Lin Hospital in Taipei (Taiwan) in the last few years, the problem of urinary incontinence has become even more urgent. Experts are trying to find the relationship of depression and neurogenic bladder disorders in women, as well as reasons for the increase in cases. The experts conducted a study, which was attended by 32 women with symptoms and 31 without. The average age of participants was 48 years. The results showed that women with bladder control problems harder and more often suffer depression as a second group of women. Scientists found that the busy lifestyle of modern society could contribute to the increased risk of bladder dysfunction. According to experts, should be carried out for the effective treatment of bladder problems in parallel, and psychological treatment. Scientists plan to study in the following study how such a treatment is effective.
