Protects whether echinacea for colds?

Echinacea is from the flower Rudbeckia, the derived long as immune stimulant and a powerful tool in the prevention of colds. But recent studies have raised doubts about the effectiveness of this drug. Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco, USA, found no conclusive evidence that echinacea nasal congestion, sore throat and other cold symptoms reduced. Scientists have the study, which was attended by 58 people over 8 weeks. Participants received in random order echinacea and placebo capsules twice daily received during the study period. The study found that the difference in the health of those who echinacea and placebo was statistically significant. Although echinacea is considered to be immune-stimulating and primarily sold in health food stores and pharmacies, the study on par with many others, are not recommended for the prevention of colds. Harm, of course, will not involve the use of this drug, but on a cold, is not likely to protect.
