Heavy snoring can indicate cardiovascular disease

Snoring is one of the symptoms of disorders of the cardiovascular system and stroke, according to Hungarian scientists. Scientists have analyzed the records of 12 thousand patients. It was found that patients who are more prone to heart attacks snoring significant (34%), and stroke were (67%) in comparison with other patients. Doctors point out that this trend was found only in people with a severe snoring. The study found that prone to snoring 40% of men and 24% women. In addition, scientists have found that snoring is typical of people who are overweight. The cause of snoring is the process by which the hyperventilation, when a man is on his back, and he grows a deep breath and opened his mouth. This method controls the soft structure of the pharynx and causes narrowing of the airways. The results of the study were published in the journal Sleep. Once again, scientists were able to confirm a theory put forward earlier relationship of snoring and cardiovascular diseases.
