In women who have had a lot of stress in the early stages of pregnancy, the risk of schizophrenia in the child, they say. A team of scientists from the University of Manchester examined the data to 1.38 million children born in Denmark between 1973 and 1995. The risk of schizophrenia and related disorders was approximately 67% higher than in the offspring of women who lost relatives in the first trimester of pregnancy. Researchers placed hypothesis that abnormalities in the structure of the brain are associated with schizophrenia, can be formed in the earliest stages of fetal development. This result seems to be the thesis that confirm the mental state of the mother to a profound effect on her unborn child. However, the researchers found no evidence that the loss of a close relative to have another later stages of pregnancy does not affect the unborn child. According to scientists, this issue requires further testing, to provide proper and timely precaution.
