Obesity can cause infertility in men

Men who are overweight, less likely to conceive a child, even if they are healthy in general, scientists say. They found that of 87 healthy men, aged 19 to 48 years, the least likely to conceive in men with obesity. Scientists have found that hormonal differences between the participants in the experiment, affect fertility. The study was published in the journal Fertility and Sterility. Higher based on data from more slender male hormone testosterone in the blood than in obese men. Even in men with normal weight above the level of luteinizing hormone (LH), which stimulates the development of interstitial tissue in the gonads and the biosynthesis of sex hormones in both sexes, and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), sperm production stimulated in men and from cells the anterior pituitary gland. Both the hormone responsible for male reproductive function, experts say. The experts were of the opinion that only a preponderance of a factor to cause infertility healthy men. Obesity in men is in a position to influence the hormone testosterone helps transform it into estrogen, which in turn suppresses LH and FSH, and disrupts normal reproductive function in men, experts believe.
